If any place in Toronto could be truly called the home of raving over the past few years, it was the Big Bop. Within those big purple walls, uncountable friendships were formed, incalculable amounts of Jager was consumed, and thousands of nights were well and truly lived. But at long last, the time has come for the Big Bop to move on. So on Saturday, January 30th, join us as we bid a sad but fond farewell to home sweet home in the raviest way possible - the final Big Bop rave, "Good To The Last Bop!"

Flyer back

A tradition of years of top-notch talent continues right to the end for this farewell fiesta, with music provided by international heroes, local legends, and Big Bop favourites alike:

The Reverb:

Garbo [UK] - Devotion UK, D-Railed

We are SUPER excited to have Garbo back. His set at Total Request Rave 3 was one of the best hard house sets to date, even djOpel was in awe, and he is one jaded hard house raver! Back all the way from Derby, England, hooray for Garbo!

No Left Turn [USA] - K12 Studios

Featuring the latest tunes from his band of K12 artists and some of the most creative mixing on the planet, there's a reason that No Left Turn is regarded as North America's number one hardcore DJ! Now, he returns to Toronto to give the Big Bop a proper hardcore send off!

Lazarus - Darkrave, Panic

Lazarus is a non-stop party machine with Darkrave, Fetish Nights, Panic and Depeche Mode events! It seems fitting that the last party at Reverb, should have the promoter who has done it all in this building. We have all been to soooo many good nights of Darkrave, so we are proud to give him the last set ever in this building!

International djOpel - Deprivation Records, Fireball Records, Embedded

Opel, having proven himself one of North America's finest Hard House DJs and producers, has recently taken England by storm, with an ever growing collection of European performances under his belt! Now he's back home in Toronto to wave goodbye to the big purple monster!

Dynamic [USA] b2b Flyboy - Nocturnal Commissions

You like Happy Hardcore? You know you do! And nobody brings the Happy Hardcore like these two - founders of Nocturnal Commissions and two of the busiest names in the business, get ready to sing along for one last Big Bop anthem set!

DAVEoftheRAVE b2b Xphox - Nocturnal Commissions

Nocturnal Commissions is a strong team, and here are two of the strongest reasons! Whether it's breakbeat madness or hands in the air hardcore, expect the unexpected from these two NC scions!

Mizz Lee & Lucy Ford - Embedded, CHC, Nocturnal Commissions

One final main room set from the lovely ladies of drum and bass! These girls have smashed the disco at every NC and Embedded event, and are ready for one last bop!

RollsRoyce - Ron Paul

Whether it's shutting down Yonge Street or shutting down the Federal Reserve, RollsRoyce is your man! Just wait til RollsRoyce shows you what he can do with his 12"!!

Holy Joe's:

The Dork Knights (Mannik & Saiyan - Reunited at last!)
- CHC, Airhead

Holy shit! You never thought you'd see the day, but this legendary matchup returns one last time for a final Big Bop farewell set of slammin' Happy Hardcore!!!

The Buzz - TDSK, CHC

After poppin' hardstyle boners all over Darkrave in November, the hardstyle superposse known as The Buzz is ready for one last brewhaha. The Bliz from Hamilton and Fuzzboy from Toronto are packing the big guns for this huge night!

Bacchus - Steel records, Derbe Records, Big Kahuna

Local legend Bacchus is the man who showed Toronto the meaning of Hardstyle - now, get ready for him to open your eyes to what a world-class DJ can do!

Dubcomm - DCS905, CHC, 89.5FM
Known for an intense selection of dark edged tech-drum and bass and high energy performances, Dubcomm provides a relentless assault of mind altering beats at every opportunity. Poor Holy Joes wont know what hit it!

Xofer - Embedded,
He has been with Embedded from humble beginnings in the basement of Surface Nightclub 5 years ago. Only seems fitting that we provide the honour of last set ever in Holy Joes to Xofer. Who knows that The Dirt will have up his sleeve for the last hour in Holy Joes!

Restricted Viewing - Brain Cell

The Brain Cell boys were a huge a part of the Big Bop community, and it just wouldn't be proper to send off the Bop without a set from these trancemasters and Bounce heroes!

$15 presale tickets available at Shanti Baba (546 Queen Street West) and the Happy Rave Booth

$20 at the door

Doors open at 9PM - rave continues until they shut us down!

Hey all! So who wants to know how to get to the party tonight?

Driving from Buffalo, Rochester, Pittsburgh, or points south? Take the QEW to the 427 North. The 427 will merge with the 401 East. Stay on the 401 East until you hit the exit for Keele Street. Take a left off the exit to turn onto Keele going North. Stay on Keele until you hit Sheppard, a major intersection. Turn right onto Sheppard. Just a couple of streets later, on your right, is the entrance to Downsview Park that is labelled "John Drury Drive." Take that a short ways then turn left onto Carl Hall Road. Follow Carl Hall until you get to the Grand Prix Kartways, which has large checker flag designs along the top half.

Driving from Ottawa, Montreal, or points north? Take the 401 West all the way to Keele Street exit. Turn right onto Keele (going North) from the exit ramp.

Taking the TTC? Note that the subway is FREE from 12:01 AM onward and runs until 4 AM courtesy of the Toronto Entertainment Alliance. Thanks guys! Anyway, hop on the subway to Downsview Station, which is the northernmost station of the University line. From Downsview Station, the 101 Downsview Park bus runs until 10PM. This bus will drop you right next to the Grand Prix Kartways facility! So this is the easiest by far. After 10PM, the 108 Downsview bus departs Downsview Station and runs along Sheppard West. Get off at John Drury Drive, the entrance to Downsview Park (there is a giant Downsview Park sign at the corner and a stop light intersection), and walk into the park. Take John Drury to Carl Hall Road, then follow Carl Hall to Grand Prix Kartways (there are signs, just in case). More info at
